Terms of Use of betano-recenze.cz

This document sets out the rules that apply between the operator of betano-recenze.cz and everyone who uses it. The site is an independent information project about the Betano brand and it carries affiliate links. You can reach the operator at contact@betano-recenze.cz.

A few words have a fixed meaning here:

• website: the pages published at betano-recenze.cz;
• user: any individual or company that opens the website or makes other use of what it contains;
• affiliate link: a link leading to a gambling operator or to one of its commercial partners, where a click may earn the website operator a commission.

On the website you will find overviews, reviews and news about online gambling, focused mainly on Betano. Everything here is for information only. Because the website operator does not run gambling within the meaning of Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling, you cannot use the website to:

• open a player account,
• deposit money,
• play gambling games,
• have your identity verified.

Only the gambling operator, KAIZEN GAMING CZ LIMITED, decides the binding rules of play. Its licence from the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic appears in the Whitelist kept by MF ČR.

Part of the links here are affiliate links. A click on one takes you to a gambling operator or one of its commercial partners and may bring the website operator a commission; you are not charged anything extra for it. These links play no role in what we publish, in what order or how we rate it. We give this notice in accordance with Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.

Everything we create for the website, from the texts and graphics to its databases, structure and source code, enjoys protection under zákon č. 121/2000 Sb., the Czech Copyright Act, as amended. Personal use is fine; anything beyond it, especially distribution, copying or modification, requires the website operator's prior written consent.

The Betano trademarks are a different matter. Their owner holds them, our operator has no rights in them and mentions them only descriptively, so that readers know which brand and products a text is about. Mentioning them does not tie the operator to the trademark owner in any way.

We take reasonable care that the information is accurate and current, yet we cannot promise it will always be complete, up to date and without mistakes. Nothing here amounts to legal, financial, tax or other expert advice; before deciding anything, users have to check the facts in official sources, first of all with the gambling operator itself.

The website operator also:

• is not a party to any contract between a user and the gambling operator and bears no responsibility for that operator's offers or conditions,
• answers neither for what third-party sites linked from here contain nor for whether they are available,
• is not liable for any damage or loss caused by relying on third-party information or services.

Gambling, the subject of the website, is regulated by Act No. 186/2016 Coll., so only people older than 18 years may use the site. By using it, users confirm that they meet this condition; anyone younger is not allowed to use it.

Our separate privacy policy explains how the website handles personal data: to what extent, for which purposes and by what means. It rests on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), on Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, and on other related rules, and it also covers cookies under § 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.

Czech law applies to any relationship that arises when the website is used, above all the Civil Code together with other applicable rules. Any dispute falls to the court that has general jurisdiction over the website operator in Czechia.

Consumers can also settle a dispute out of court with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2; adr.coi.cz explains how. For online dispute resolution, the European Commission provides information at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These terms apply from the day of their publication on the website. The operator may amend or extend them on its own at any time; a new version is valid as soon as it goes online. Users must follow the current version, and whoever keeps using the website after an amendment accepts the new wording.
